I wish you a very happy holiday with all my sincerity! This is my last musical creation for the year: “Childhood’s home”.
This is in fact, an issue that I care deeply about. For I believe that toiling to improve childhood, means contributing to improve humanity. And to respect our environment, which is to respect the house of every child in this world ... those who are already there and those who are still yet to come.
And because I believe that there is nothing more magical than witnessing the smiles and cheers of children, I wish to thank all those numerous associations that had taken great efforts every single day of the year to offer these children a childhood they truly deserve and help them find the smile they’ve lost.
Thus, at the end of this year, I would like to share with you some associations to which I’ve supported this year myself: La Voix de l’enfant, Mecénat Chirugie cardiaque enfants du monde, CARE, Médecin du monde, because perhaps by doing so, you might as well be motivated and encouraged to support them too. Or to support another association close to you that you consider to be efficient based on your criteria or about which the cause appeals to you !
"I loved the gay, glad things of earth,
The sunshine, birds, and streams and flowers,
Yet would I hush my childish mirth,
And, through those dim, sequestered bowers,
In solitude, delight to steal,
It was there I learned to think and feel.
The rustling of a wild-bird's wings,
A star, a flower, a gush of rain,
The sight of sad or joyous things,
Oft makes me seem a child again:
With voiceless eloquence they come,
Bright phantoms of my childhood's home."
